FAQ

Common questions about using Badr

What is Badr?

Badr is a free tool to track your daily prayers and worship during Ramadan and beyond. The name "Badr" means "full moon" in Arabic — start as a crescent and grow toward your full potential.

Is it really free?

Yes, completely free. No hidden costs, no premium plans, no credit card required. We built it as a service to the community.

What can I track?

All 5 daily prayers (with mosque, on-time, and qada tracking), fasting, suhoor, Quran pages, morning and evening adhkar, dua, taraweeh, and tahajjud.

Does it use the Hijri calendar?

Yes! Badr uses the Umm al-Qura calendar for automatic Hijri date calculation. Navigate between months and see your worship on a heatmap.

Is my data private?

Your data is stored securely with row-level security. Only you can access your worship data. We never share or sell your information.

Can I view my progress over a month?

Absolutely. The month view shows a heatmap calendar with filters for prayers, mosque, on-time, fasting, and Quran, plus a daily breakdown table and monthly summary statistics.
